Life

The last couple of weeks have been good here in the Lindeman household. Last night Blake and I went to a ward activity (Rob needed to study) and we had so much fun. The theme was "southern silliness." Everyone brought a dessert to share and we just played games as a ward and got to know new members (like us) and old members. All of our names went into a bucket that they would draw from to participate in the different games. The rule was that one member of that household had to go participate in whatever game was being played and our family got called up 3 times! Since it was just Blake and I, I didn't have a choice but to go up and participate. One of the games was a relay race with 6 team members. Each team member had to stuff an oatmeal cream pie in their mouth and then pass the bag down to the next team mate. I was on a team with all boys and we won...but I felt so sick after! If Blake had teeth I would have sent him up to be the family participant in that one! I really love our ward though, and it was a really fun night. (Oh and we sat at a table next to a bunch of youth, so I got to know some of the Beehives/Miamaids...which was really fun).

Blake is turning into such a pleasant little baby. He didn't cry at all at the ward activity, just looked around and took it all in. He's also gotten a lot more smiley...though it's hard to catch on camera. Also he is sleeping longer! Two nights ago he went 7 hours and last night he went 5. I sure love my baby.

Haha- this made me laugh. Blake was hungry and Rob took it upon himself to be his spokesman. Fork and spoon and all.

A favorite thing of mine to do with Rob and Blake is going on walks. Rob planned a date night where we did just that.

Blake is figuring out his muscles. He likes standing up on our stomachs and feeling tall.

This is how we've been waking up daddy lately. A nice big kiss from Blake right on the nose.

We got a lot of rain from hurricane Isaac. Rob ran out with Blake in the rain and, holy cow, I felt so bad. It scared him so bad! In the next video he is finally getting to used to it.

Thank you Julianna for this carrier!

We went on a walk with our friends at a beautiful park. Blake had a nice time sitting in their stroller.
