Our Week

We have been doing well! One of the best things that happened was that a lady in the ward was getting rid of her high chair and gave it to us for free! I really like it.

Other than that, on Saturday we went to dinner at a ward members house. Her name is Kristine Theiss and she is great. We get along really well and at dinner we found out why. We are both from Texas, both come from families with eight children, and are both the third child! Well we have other things in common too but those three things were fun discoveries. They have four kids, age 13-4, and Blake loved the four year old. He just stared at him the whole time.

Also, hallelujah, we finally got a dresser! I'll put a picture below.

Pacifier turned into chewing toy!

I like his face in this one. Rob had to hold his hands down because Blake kept pulling the glasses off.

Haha- this is his "Mom, quit taking pictures and pick me up"face.

Benson and Blake, Benson lives under us.

Dresser from craigslist. It's a nice little dresser.

First time ever wearing shoes. And boy did he look cute. I think these shoes are from Katie and Bryce. Thank you!

Oh how he loves Amelia.

A few pictures

A friend let us borrow this to see if Blake would like it...don't mind the pink :)

We took Blake's mattress out of his crib so that I could lay by him when it's time to go to sleep. He looks like such a big boy in his own room and bed.

 Mike, Blake loves this ball.

Valentine's Date

Last night we went on a fun Valentines date while our friends watched Blake. We went to dinner and ice cream :) I love you, Rob!

Today Blake and I are going to a friends Valentines Day pizza party. Blake and I are bringing airheads to give away to the kids...all kids like airheads right?? Tonight there is a girls' night and tomorrow there is a valentines day cookie decorating party. I guess valentines day is a popular day to plan get-togethers. :) But these little things are always fun.

Blake has been pulling himself up more and more. He also really crawled yesterday with his tummy off the ground. He teeth are still coming through (I guess I'll be saying that for the next two years, though). His bottom right tooth is through the gum but his bottom left is still blister-looking...but is so close. He is so much fun. He will just start laughing at the littlest things. He has been making hilarious faces lately. One funny story that I already told a couple of you- the other night I was feeding/changing his diaper at 3:00am. While I was laying him back down Rob started sleep-talking. Well, Blake isn't used to hearing his daddy's voice in the middle of the night so he thought it was play time! He perched up on his little elbows and started looking around for his daddy. I tried putting him back to sleep but it was a lost cause. I was holding him on my chest and he kept looking over at Rob. I let him go and he climbed right on top of Rob. They had a little middle of the night play session. It was too cute but I did ban Rob from sleep talking. :)

Dad Lindeman- Rob wanted me to let you know that if you were looking for your sunglasses, we found them! :)

Blake's Walker and My Salsa!

Tonight I am missing you all. I am blogging to distract myself ;) I love you!

Blake has this walker from Shelly that he really likes. I just put toys on it and he is pretty happy for a while. Blake is also getting great at picking things up with his fingers! Those fine-motor skills are coming along. :)

As for note worthy things from my life....something incredible happened today. Yes. It was a big deal. I found a salsa that I love. I've gone through a lot of store bought and homemade salsa's that just didn't make the cut with me. But the other day I was at Costco during the sampling hours. One of the samples were these enchilada bites with a little salsa on the side. I think I literally stopped in my tracks. I totally forgot about the enchilada because the salsa was SO good. It's a lot like Chili's salsa...which I love. So anyway, all you salsa fans out there, you should try this.

Babies of 2012

Whoa! I know. I'm making history. Writing on my blog for four days straight! Well today we had AMAZING weather! I love when it's sunny and warm. We had fun doing lot's of errands today and spending time at the park. Also, this evening all the babies born in our ward in 2012 (there were like 30) met at the church to take a picture. Only about half the babies showed up but it was fun getting them together. We had them lined up from youngest to oldest and it was hilarious to watch them interact. Blake sat next to Kate and could not stop touching her bow! Haha...then Benson moved in from behind and they were both attacking poor Kate. It was funny.
Blake loves grabbing Robs

Incredible Dave's

The dental school had a convention at Incredible Dave's Pizza last night (like Mr. Gatti's) where all dental students and their families got free pizza and bowling! It was a blast. It was fun meeting Rob's classmates and I think they liked meeting all their LDS classmate's wives and kids. Here are some pictures.

Teething

Daddy teaching Blake how to brush his teeth. :)

Handsome little boy.

I love when he plays by himself. It's so cute to watch. :)

We have been doing pretty well this week. It's been cold with lot's of snow. The public schools even got a snow day, but Rob's school was just delayed two hours...which was still nice! Rob has tests pretty much every week, but this past week and the upcoming week he has had/ has some big ones. He's been gone studying a ton this week. I'm proud of how hard he works! I know school can be stressful but this is what he has always wanted to do and it will be so worth it in a few years. Rob is so awesome!

Blake. Blake. Blake. Little Blake has been teething this week. He does fine during the day but nights have been a struggle the last few nights. By the time 5:30 AM rolls around Blake is ready to boogie and I am ready to crawl in a cave and sleep for twelve hours. Haha. I feel like his morning naps save my life sometimes when I get to sleep for an hour or so more. Every time I wake up from that nap I feel like a new person!

Aside from this sleep issue, we are doing great at home! We have fun. It's fun to watch him grow. I love him so much!
