Da-da, waving, and kisses!

It's been such a fun week for Blake. He has learned to wave and give kisses! And he gets better and better at saying Da-da. We love him so much!

This week is Rob's last week of finals! He's done such a great job.  We can't believe one year is down.

My friend lent me a book called Edenbrooke that I am going to try to read this week.

We love you all so much! We are so happy and loving Kentucky this time of year.

We went walking the other day and the trees were so beautiful with there blooms :)

Handsome boy
Blake started liking the Backyardigans. Sometimes when I turn it on he'll get really excited, but this time he just stared.

Blake loves pulling everything off the bookshelf! Of course he stopped when I started filming.

I hope you like some of these:

9 Month Check Up

Not a lot of news around here...just the fact that Blake loooooves his daddy now. All he does when Rob gets home is chase him around. It's so funny.
Blake loves this touch and feel animal book. The only down side...he eats the rabbit fur :)

I had to move this plug-in....

He'll hold this pose forever, but no steps yet :)

Trying to get the hat off.
He did not like this hat. But it looked so cute on him!

He didn't mind this one.

His newest thing is that he loves swings.

No fear! He wanted to get up higher so  climbed the bouncer.

We got the swing out for Amelia, and that evening Blake wanted to give it a try.
These are his 9 month measurements:

Length: 29 inches (75th %tile)
Weight: 21 Ib. (50th %ile)
Head: 48 cm. (95th %ile)

Happy 9 Months!

Tickling Session:

Mommy, help me!

Happy 9 months my little love bug!
We've been doing really well. Rob has had a big week of tests, and we are happy this week is down! Blake and I have been having fun going to the ymca.

Another fun thing I did this week was go to a girls' movie night at the theater. It was $5 Tuesday and we saw The Host. I know Kacie read the book and liked it, so I was excited to see it. It is definitely a chick-flick, though! Rob was even such a sweetie and volunteered to stay home with Blake so that I didn't have to bring him, and that's saying a lot with how busy he was.

I'm so thankful for Rob and for the kind things he does. Monday was one of those crazy days because I was taking dinner to my visiting teachee who just had a baby, and the dinner was a flop. So with 45 minutes until the time I was taking dinner over, I ran to get some Quiznos sandwiches instead. By the time I came home Rob had gotten home from school, done all the dishes, made the bed, got the laundry going, took the garbage out, AND, best of all, still had a smile on when I walked through the door! He sure knows how to make his wife happy :)

We are excited for conference, and are planning on making cinnamon rolls, to carry on tradition!
