Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween this year! Actual Halloween was canceled due to a  tornado watch, so Louisville just celebrated a day late. Since Rob was sick earlier in the week he could not come out with us for trick or treating, but Blake and I went out to see the lights and all the kids. I took him in his wagon to the nice neighborhood next to us and on the way we met up with friends!

Not sure why mommy colored all over a perfectly good shirt :)

Train Conductor!

A few scarce pictures with the hat on.

Peek-a-boo!
A friend gave Blake these Thomas the Train pajamas :) We like to talk about cousin Thomas when he wears them.

Having fun with Daddy

Blake playing with trains in his fort. He's has that "cheese" down really well ;)

Rob thought I was funny for practicing my talk using the high chair as my podium. :)

And best of all...here he/she is! It was a great first appointment! He/she was so wiggly!  I could clearly see his/her legs and arms moving all around. Katie- this is one of the many reasons it would be nice to live closer! You have the coolest job :)
This weekend is the ward trunk or treat. I will post pictures from that! I'm sure it will be a blast. I love you all!

My Little Dishwasher and 15 Month Checkup

One day I walked in the kitchen and Blake had successfully poured dish soap in both of the little containers for it. I guess he really is watching me!

He REALLY wanted to feed his friend. He will make a swell big brother ;)

"Cheeeeeeezzzze"

George and Oliver  have become apart of the family.   It is common for them to jump over our side-door fence and peek thru our blinds to see if we're home. That is after they try to open the front door and it happens to be locked. It cracks us up!
Blake had a great 15 month appointment. He is 32in tall (75th %), weighs 23lbs. 11oz. (40th %) and his  big ole' head is still big...50cm. (100 %)

Fall is coming!

We have had a great week. The weather is beautiful and sunshiny.

I'm so thankful for good friends in life. Cydni Gardner sent me a text out of the blue and it made me so happy!

I've been working hard at de-cluttering and organizing our little apartment and am happy to say that it's about done! Everything now has a spot and it feels so nice! I love when things are organized...now the trick is keeping things in there spot!

The past few months I have been thinking of putting together a file with ensign articles and talks that I know I am going to want to share with my kids/ have as talk reference material later on in life. So far, the best I have is all cap letters saying "TALK ABOUT FOR FAMILY HOME EVENING WHEN KIDS ARE TEENAGERS" or "READ BEFORE KIDS GO ON MISSIONS" highlighted and underlined at the top of the articles, but I know the only way I am going to remember these things is if I make sure to remember them! Well, I was talking to Rob about this and he said that LDS.org already has a spot where I can save and highlight articles and talks and organize them with tabs in my account. Thank goodness for Rob, always one step ahead of me in the technology world :) So, that is a little something I am trying to start collecting.

Blake is as cute as ever. He does funny things all the time. Blake loves to get into Rob's pens/pencil part of his backpack. Yesterday he got into it and carefully went through and picked out all of Rob's mechanical pencils and pulled out all of the erasers with his teeth. Then he put the erasers back in, and did it again.  Rob and I were watching him the whole time and couldn't stop laughing.

Pregnancy is picking up :) I've hit the nausea stage which isn't the most pleasant thing but it's not too terrible. I'm just really picky in what I want to eat (and cook). So far today I have had a piece of bread, granola and yogurt (which did not hit the spot...I didn't even finish it :( ) a banana, a peach, an apple (fruit is so amazing to me right now! It's refreshing and gives me energy), half a cucumber and a baked potato (which has never tasted so yummy!) So, I'm a happy camper right now! I know I can't feel the baby, but today I have definitely been feeling something. It's like little flutters deep in my stomach :)

Rob took is second big Pathology test this week. He is doing great in school. So, we've got to spend quite a bit more time with him since the studying hasn't been so demanding :)

Poor Blake was sick last week. The only way he got any good sleep was in this tilted back butterfly chair.

I cringe just looking at this picture! Blake and I got home after a R.S. activity and found this guy on the bathroom counter. Of course Rob wasn't home to kill it. It only took me about 30 minutes to get brave enough to capture it. Rob killed it when he got home :) It's my goal to get a little more brave when it comes to spiders.

It was our turn for baby swap last week. Rob took these four to the park while I stayed home to put baby Audric down for a nap.

I went in the room for one minute and came out to Mr. Blake prancing around on the kitchen table...yikes! I guess he thought climbing on chairs got a little too easy.

Our life lately

We have all been doing well :) Rob is working very hard in school. He does such a good job at trying to stay balanced and motivated and being optimistic even when things get tough. I guess this is just training for life because we are always told that life just gets busier, and you never get more time, so just learn to enjoy where you're at.

Blake is going great!!! He has about eight words he knows how to say: dog, duck, bird, ball, dada, mama (only when he is tired or sad, grrr ;)), please, and the cutest, "uh oh."

Rob and I were just talking about little pieces of Blake's personality that we already notice. Like how he loves people. If he can get you to smile or laugh, he is so happy! In stores he will slowly walk up to someone and just smile until they smile back. It's funny to watch because as soon as they start actually talking to him he gets bashful and just looks at his toes. He is funny.

Amelia came over and I guess Blake wanted to be close or something. Haha, he carefully positioned himself to be lying right on her lap.

This one reminded me of an engagement picture, haha.

Some of the neighborhood boys playing at "Blake's house."

Things got a little crazy, so what do I do? Turn on a show :)

When Rob studies at home

Oh no! I hope this taking off his own diaper and running around the house does not become a trend!

Blake likes when I open the back door and let him play outside. He loves reaching through the slots and finding sticks.

I have a few vidoes I'll upload later!

Cute Pictures

My little man!

Blake kept stealing Rob's glasses so Rob got him one of his old pairs. Blake thought he looked pretty funny :)

My favorite!

Rob turned the coffee table on its side because Blake kept climbing on top of it, so Blake decided to do this instead. :)

This was an accomplishment! Blake kept this hat on his head for a full 30 seconds! That has never happened before.
Ohhhhhh..I sure love this little boy!

One more video

I couldn't get this video to work on the last post, but Rob worked his magic and now it does. :) It was our turn to babysit for our baby swap group, so meet Eli and Conner, Blake's adopted older siblings:

Birthday and pictures

My Birthday was great this year thanks to all of you, and of course, Rob and Blake! Thank you for all of the birthday wishes! And happy birthday to Grandma Lindeman, Mike, and Greg this week too!

Blake's new favorite hiding spot!

This boy loves to climb and make mommy nervous!

Rob let him play with a bad of Q-tips :)

Thank you Rob for a yummy birthday breakfast!

Blake enjoying birthday donuts, too.

I am the luckiest girl

This picture is just for me to remember. Rob was very dismayed when, for the second time, he bought neapolitan ice cream while meaning to buy vanilla.

Rob made me a big bowl of cake, ice cream and strawberries.

"Blake, say cheese!"

This picture is for my Mom who bought me the shoes and the red sweater for my birthday! They go together perfectly! Thanks, Mom! I should also mention that even though you can't see them, I'm wearing the earrings from Momma Lindeman, thank you! :)

We went to a dental school bbq for Rob's class and Blake was seriously getting into the music. :) I had to cut this video short though because you'll see at the very end Blake finds a cigarette bud on the ground.
