Today it has been dark and rainy and cold. Blake has slept a lot today. This morning we went to Costco and met up with my visiting teachers and tonight there was a girls' night where we did a murder mystery night. It was fun.

Ward Halloween Party

It has been a great couple of days! Tonight we are going to a cafe rio party...which we are very excited about. Everyone is bringing something so there should be lot's of yummy cafe rio food. We are bringing pork and green sauce...which thanks to my mother in law we have the BEST recipe for.

Last night was the ward Halloween party. Blake looked soooo cute in the giraffe outfit my mom sent :)

It has gotten really cold here. But no snow, which is good...for me. The beautiful fall leaves are quickly falling off and I am sad that we didn't get many pictures of them. Last Sunday we went on a drive to look at the leaves but I forgot my camera so we didn't get any pictures. Next Fall we are going to get some family pictures with some of the scenery.

He kept sticking his tongue out like he was a real giraffe :)

I loved his tail.

He was pretty mesmerized by his costume

Trying to figure out what that cute thing is in the mirror

As you can tell Rob went all out with his costume... He was feeling very original ;)

Blake's friend was wearing the same costume

This video has too many things in it for me not to post it...Allan and "Aunt" Darin should especially watch this...
My little giraffe was having a lot of fun with his tongue in this one...

Big 3.5 month old

Wow Blake is getting so big. Everyone that saw him at church today couldn't believe how much he's grown. I know how fast babies grow but I didn't realize how much Blake's grown until I looked at pictures from a couple of months ago! I love holding him close and just being grateful for getting to be a mommy.

Okay...so he can't play with them yet but he likes looking at them! (But actually, he's figuring out how to move his hand around and touch things :). )

Funny face :) caught between smiles.

I love watching him sleep. He didn't do anything super funny in this video but I love when he starts laughing in his sleep.

Our day at the pumpkin patch

It was a cold day when we left but was perfect when we got there!

YUMMY pumpkin ice cream

We had a blast and it was so fun spending time together during Rob's fall break :)

Not happy about getting his picture taken!
Wow...this outfit used to be huge on him and now it fits him just right. He is a-growin!

I told Rob that I felt like I didn't have very many pictures with Blake so he took a couple.

I know I'm just a tad biased but I think this kiddo is pretty darn cute. ;)

Well congrats to Mitch! He was called to serve in Argentina.

I enjoyed watching last nights debate...but I ended up staying up way too late.

I read this talk: https://www.lds.org/liahona/2003/11/choosing-charity-that-good-part?lang=eng
by Bonnie D. Parkin and really liked it. She used Mary and Martha as her example and I have always loved that story. For Christmas a few years back my Dad framed a different scripture story picture for all of the kids and the one he gave me was the story of Mary and Martha. This is one part that I really liked from her talk-

"Like Mary, I hunger to feast at the Savior’s feet, while, like Martha, I need to somehow find the laundry room floor, empty my in-box, and serve my husband something other than cold pizza. I have 15 grandchildren whose tender little spirits and daily challenges I want to better understand, yet I also have a slightly demanding Church calling! I don’t have lots of time. Like all of you, I have to choose. We all are trying to choose the good part which cannot be taken from us, to balance the spiritual and the temporal in our lives. Wouldn’t it be easy if we were choosing between visiting teaching or robbing a bank? Instead, our choices are often more subtle. We must choose between many worthy options."

Anyway, being a new mom with limited time on the free time that I have...I really appreciated this.

Love all of you!
